Knowledge of Arabic provides access to the rich intellectual heritage of Islam and to the history, societies, and cultures of the Middle East and many African countries.

The Master of Arts in Arabic Language program is one of the prominent programs that allow students to be establish a solid understanding about the syntactic, linguistic, literary, and rhetorical studies; thus, the student will be able to combine between originality, evolution, and modernization and to be involved in them.

The Smart Island University Master of Arts in Arabic Language Studies (MA ALS) has been designed to give you a thorough and supportive opportunity to conduct research in Arabic. It enables you to demonstrate advanced familiarity with classical and/or modern Arabic literature, poetry, or Islamic religious texts.

They will, also, attain proficiency in Modern Standard Arabic through the utilization of fundamental reading, writing, listening and speaking skills, and be able to communicate clearly and concisely in written and spoken form.

  • Students holding a Bachelor of Art in Arabic, or a Bachelor’s degree that can be admitted on an equivalent basis.
  • 1 year’s Work experience is a must for candidates or
  • Applicants who have a bachelor degree from a recognized institution
  • Candidates from other disciplines may be asked to attend additional bridging courses before starting the program.
